Tiro Association for Arts from Lebanon creates cultural sanctuaries in places where these hardly exist anymore. In the next two years, Tiro will reopen the old Cinema Radio cinema in Tripoli and, together with young people and artists, will transform it into a meeting place for cultural activities. Via a bus, exchanges take place between young people and communities from the north with those from the south and they develop joint productions and festivals. Tiro offers these young people hope, mutual understanding and an alternative perspective on their existence. This is hugely important in a country ravaged by various crises and divergent interests.
