The Ketchup Project is building drying hubs in Kenya with farmers' cooperatives. The tomatoes that the cooperative dries with this are processed into a healthier and fairer ketchup. It is sold in the Netherlands to consumers, catering and restaurants. The Ketchup Project organizes the ketchup chain in such a way that food waste is prevented and the living conditions of small-scale farmers in developing countries are improved at the same time. In 2020, this partner has received a contribution from the support facility in response to the corona crisis.
