The Local Food Cooperative part of Kabale Municipality Development Foundation (KMDF) in Kabale, Uganda, is working on a more sustainable food system in the region based on more local food production and healthier consumption. With this approach, they are a successful forerunner to bring about change in the improvement of the local living environment, the soil is restored and more people have access to healthier locally produced food.
