BuildX is a Kenyan company that designs and constructs buildings with as many women workers as possible. In construction, BuildX uses circular materials and the design focuses on the users, their health and social lifestyles. With DOEN's support, BuildX can build the first wooden flat in Nairobi and prove that wood construction is a way to give more people in Nairobi access to sustainable, safe housing.
