DOEN to organise deep dive for social investors during SEWF23

News overview

On Tuesday, 10 October, DOEN will be organising a Fringe Event for social investors, named “Accelerating system change by providing trust-based funding” during the 2023 Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF23). During this interactive session, we hope to inspire and share examples of trust-based funding.

The programme

The event will take place from 13:30 to 17:30 hours at the DOEN Foundation/Postcode Lottery Group in Amsterdam. After an introduction of the Postcode Lottery Group and DOEN, we'll share why we believe trust-based funding is so important to achieve system change. DOEN partners Wilder Land and HDI Kenya will share what this way of funding means to them. After the Q&A and discussion, there will be an opportunity to discuss the topic further over drinks.

Social investors attending SEWF23 can register for DOEN’s (free) Fringe Event here.

SEWF23: Fringe Day

The Fringe Event will take place on Fringe Day during SEWF23. This annual event attracts social entrepreneurs from around the world who converge to learn, gain inspiration and network.
