Equatorial Power (EP) is a sustainable company that sets up and runs minigrids in East Africa. The minigrids provide electricity to households, SMEs and to a mini industrial zone where services such as food cooling are provided. Equatorial Power also supports (micro) entrepreneurs in the communities. The strong focus on income-generating activities contributes to raising the standard of living of customers. Equatorial Power is developing a stable and scalable model for minigrids.
