Rural Development of Northeast India through solar mini grids.
Hamara Grid develops and installs minigrids for remote, less developed areas with limited to no access to the electricity grid. With this funding, Hamara is continuing to build the training center in Mon District in Nagaland, which is connected to 132 villages. They offer the training primarily to young people and entrepreneurs in the region so that knowledge can be applied sustainably for the future. In doing so, Hamara provides households, schools, and entrepreneurs with affordable and green power for the long term in a locally supported manner.
