Films Femmes Afrique - Stichting DOEN

The festival Films Femmes Afrique is the biennial festival in Senegal run by women. In Dakar as well as in 10 other Senegalese cities, more than 80 films by female African (diaspora) filmmakers will be screened, and talks, residencies and training courses will be organised. The festival is an important platform for the development of female artistry and the inclusion of important social themes, also among young people. This year’s theme is “Urgence climatique & Paix”.
