De Rietwijker - Stichting DOEN

Verdedig Noord wants to turn the Rietwijker, a large but outdated former community center in the Banne district in Amsterdam North, into a vibrant meeting place for the neighborhood again. They organize a wide range of social and cultural neighborhood activities, ranging from coffee mornings, Banne Eet evenings, markets, a communal vegetable garden, talk show with Northerners to large-scale cultural productions and performances. DOEN is asked to support this development over the next two years.
