De Nieuwe Nieuwsmarkt - Stichting DOEN

The Nieuwe Nieuwsmarkt is a collaborative project with local artists, designers and local residents in the Nieuwmarkt neighbourhood in Amsterdam. Together, they look at urgent current issues in the city with an artistic eye, such as the shortage of affordable housing and nuisance caused by tourism. These are shared in the newspaper De Nieuwe Nieuwsmarkt. In this way, De Nieuwe Nieuwsmarkt brings together different people, from local residents to professionals, to come up with new solutions from an artistic point of view.
