AgroEnable - Stichting DOEN

AgroEnable, a social enterprise in Rwanda, processes residual flows from agriculture and sewers into biochar, a natural fertiliser that stores CO2. Rice and corn farmers use this biochar on the land, which restores the soil and makes it more fertile, and CO2 from the atmosphere is stored in the soil for a long time. As a result, farmers see the yield of the land and biodiversity increase. This contributes to a regenerative economy.
