Acceleration program for clean energy and circular entrepreneurs in Eastern Congo
The ‘Circular and Clean energy Acceleration Program’ is a 12-month support program aimed at local sustainable energy and circular entrepreneurs in the Kivu region, Eastern Congo (DRC). Many sustainable entrepreneurs in the early phase run into barriers that prevent them from achieving their intended impact. With this program, 6-10entrepreneurs from Bukavu and Goma receive financial, communication and technical training, coaching from mentors with expertise in the sector, conversations with potential investors and customers and the opportunity to receive seed capital. With this, La Difference wants to strengthen the sustainable energy sector and the circular sector in the region from local entrepreneurship and realize at least 6 success stories that can inspire other entrepreneurs in the region to do business more sustainably.
