Hilvarenbeek Smart Village - Stichting DOEN

Tussenheid Hilvarenbeek stimulates the local community’s own development power in the Brabant municipality of Hilvarenbeek. Tussenheid supports residents in the creation of initiatives with a collective goal such as a local energy cooperative, informal care networks, the purchase of the last village café and the realization of a large nature park. The demands for support and the complexity and scope of the initiatives are increasing. That is why a professionalization of Tussenheid is needed and therefore appeals to DOEN.
