The Quilombo
The project The Quilombo is in a process is an art project about
old and new protest signs in the Netherlands, Curaçao,
Indonesia, Suriname and South Africa. Motormond invites four
artists to design contemporary posters that can be used by
the streets of the Amsterdam neighbourhood of the Bijlmer are
disseminate and activate the public to work with the
artists to share their personal stories of resistance, to share these
can be added to a digital archive.
