Purpose Foundation - Stichting DOEN

The Purpose Foundation is building a global movement for alternative forms of ownership for companies that can safeguard the impact mission and profit serves the mission. This model is called Steward Ownership and has the following main principles: 1) self-management and voting rights lie with people who are involved in the company, this control cannot be sold, and 2) profit serves the mission: profit is reinvested or donated whereby investors and founders are fairly compensated. This movement contributes to profit maximization for a better world instead of profit maximization for shareholders.
