Don Sen Folo - Stichting DOEN

Don Sen Folo (DSF) trains a new generation of dancers and choreographers from Mali and beyond. Through an intensive and broad training in contemporary dance under the project name TocloToclo, dancers are prepared to develop their own performances that are based on African knowledge, skills and experiences and that are in line with everyday reality. Dance is one of the disciplines in Africa where radical imagination is best expressed. It is important that a young generation is given the opportunity to professionalize so that it can make work that stimulates the public’s imagination about new forms of living together in the 22nd century.
