Terra Libera. Van wie is het (platte)land?
How can a conversation take place about the future of the
countryside? Terra Libera. Who owns the (flat) land? is a
public manifestation in Rijksmuseum Twenthe and in the
surrounding rural area around the question: ‘Who owns the
(flat) country?’. With three visual arts exhibitions,
media art and photographs, field research by artists and a
extensive public program with the Autumn Adornment Festival,
workshops, tastings, meet-ups with farmers, landowners,
artists and a pecha-kucha with young farmers. The public
can enter into dialogue with artists and
about the future of the countryside.
