What does it mean to value and focus differently on the non-human environment and forest in particular? Does this provide other models for circular wood production, ecological restoration, ownership and participation? In StagingWood, Sudio Elmo Vermijs, together with social parties, activists, scientists, thinkers, islanders and Oerol, is looking for alternatives in a four-year project on Terschelling. With (material) research, art installations, public programs and seminars, experiments with circular wood production and alternatives to ownership.
