2021: A year of resounding resilience and creativity
With 2021 well behind us now, we can take stock of developments in DOEN’s annual report. The pioneers DOEN supports did everything in their power last year not to be held back by the Covid-19 pandemic. Coming up with creative solutions and displaying incredible perseverance, many of them succeeded in pursuing their activities in 2021, albeit in a modified form. In a resilient and creative manner, they showed that things have to change and can be done differently!
Thanks to the players of the Dutch Postcode Lottery (Nationale Postcode Loterij) and the Friends Lottery (VriendenLoterij), DOEN can support inspiring pioneers hoping to create a greener, more socially inclusive and creative society. In 2021, DOEN supported 294 pioneers. They play an incredibly important role in the transition to a more sustainable society, where everyone participates, joins forces to act together and allows space for imagination.
