Batalo East is a platform for young dancers in Uganda that focuses on developing new dance styles based on traditional and urban hip-hop dance. This enables Batalo to unite people of different generations and diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. Batalo uses a wide programme of activities to make a major contribution to strengthening the dance sector.
