Action for Hope has been organising art and cultural activities in refugee camps in Lebanon and Jordan since 2015. It provides a safe environment in which locals and refugees can meet. They can dream about the future together, and talented young people are trained as filmmakers or musicians. DOEN supports Action for Hope because it offers hope and perspective to people who are in a vulnerable situation.
The organisation works partly with artists who were refugees themselves and also collaborates with local communities in Yemen, Syria, Sudan, Morocco and Iraq.
