From 2022 to 2024, Titia Bouwmeester (5eKwartier Foundation) will create culinary music theatre about the food and agricultural transition in co-production with Karavaan Festival. The immediate reason is the European Green Deal, a package of measures to save the climate and biodiversity, which means that a quarter of European agricultural production must be organic by 2030. In SOIL TRIALS, the perspective of the arable farmer is central and the consumer is invited to sit in the farmer’s chair for a while and look at the transition from his perspective.
