DOEN Participaties BV.
As of 1 January 2007 DOEN Participaties BV will only be investing in funds together with other organisations (fund-in-fund). No more new individual equity investments will be acquired. DOEN Foundation has noted that market developments are contributing to a growing demand for larger investments. It is impossible for DOEN to raise the funds required for this on its own. However, larger investments are possible through collaboration with other organisations. In addition, DOEN Participaties BV – and hence also DOEN Foundation – will no longer be bearing any risks on its own as a result.
Current situation
DOEN Participaties invests at the moment in four funds:
- Startgreen Green Sustainable Innovation Fund
- Start Green Consumer Products Fund
- Tendris Holding
- GG DOEN Social Ventures Fund
